Here is an idea for an in class project using music.
After doing some activities with songs, have your class invent a band. First you put them into groups and get them to brainstorm some types of music giving an example for each. Then have the group invent a band name, instruments that each member plays, type of music they play. Finally the group has to invent a CD cover with song titles. They can also invent the bands history e.g how they met, how long they have played, where they have played.
This is good practice for any tense as it can be adapted to any level. Have Fun
